I. Enrichment Committee
September:
Meet with teachers for overview at Parents' Meeting and to schedule West Falmouth Fire Station visit for Fire Prevention Week.
October:
Meet with teachers about acquiring pumpkin donations for the Halloween Party and Wampanoag visitor for November.
November:
Meet with teachers about a Santa for the Christmas Party in December.
January:
Prepare for Teddy Bear Health Day.
Contact Falmouth Hospital for coloring book donations.
February:
Prepare for a dental visitor.
March:
Prepare for parental jobs and careers visitors.
Set up Thorton Burgess visit.
Set up Heritage Plantation visit.
April:
3-Day member meets with teachers about visiting the North Falmouth Elementary School Kindergarten in May.
May:
Double check with bus company for K-trip.
Meet with the Refreshment Committee to plan the Annual Spring Picnic.
Meet informally with Executive Committee to hand off the job folder.
Note:
Members meet with teachers every month to see if they have anything in mind to coincide with classroom activities.

II. Fundraising Committee
August:
Chair attends August Executive Committee Meeting to discuss monetary goals for the year and to approve non-mandatory fundraisers.
September:
Committee meets at (or before) September Parents' Meeting to discuss goals. Chair needs to have a list of possible fundraisers ready to present at the Parents' Meeting and explain what the money is used for.
October:
Committee members should distribute Fall Fundraiser information.
Contact Publicity person if need be.
November:
Report to Executive Committee on fall fundraiser.
Post results.
January:
Chair and members meet and discuss spring fundraiser.
Tell about fundraiser at the Parents' Meeting.
February/March:
Distribute materials/information to parents about fundraiser.
Contact Publicity person if need be.
April:
Spring fundraiser
Post results
May:
Tell results of spring fundraiser at Parents' Meeting.
Chair meets informally with Executive Committee to give final report and hand in folder.
Remind Treasurer to give 20% of total monies raised to be put into Tuition Assistance Account.
Note:
Throughout the year, check with the Publicity Committee if you need advertising and/or assistance with events.

III. Graduation Committee
September:
Meet with teachers at September Parents' Meeting for overview.
Chair meets with teachers to discuss time line and touch base.
January:
Chair meets with lead teacher to discuss theme for Graduation. Once the theme has been picked, meet with committee members to start planning.
March-April:
Committee meetings to get prep work done.
May:
Inform 2-day parents that they must contribute.
Put up volunteer lists in coatroom (food, babysitting, etc.).
Tie up loose ends before graduation day.
June:
2-DAY members set up for graduation the day before, AND clean up afterward so the 3-day members can enjoy the ceremony.
Chair meets informally with Executive Committee to hand in folder.

IV. Maintenance Committee
August:
Chair meets with lead teacher at the Executive meeting to look over school grounds as to what repairs and clean up needs to be done. At this time, try to get names and numbers of other committee members from the Registrar.
Contact members and start clean up and repairs of the school exterior. Clean up of playground and entrance needs to be completed by the September Parents' Meeting.
September:
Chair meets with Committee members to discuss responsibilities. Establish time frame or schedule (i.e. one person responsible for two weeks at a time). Create a schedule and give everyone a copy.
October/November:
Rake leaves and check with teachers as to other areas of need.
December - February:
Make sure snow removal is done prior to school opening. Salt or sand needs to be put down on walkway and steps (front and back).
Please use discretion if Mother Nature visits us before or after the time line.
March - April:
Spring clean-up (front and back).
May:
Chair meets informally with Executive Committee to hand in folder.
Note:
The director may need maintenance inside from time to time throughout the year; i.e. dump runs, lights replaced, minor repairs, etc. The Chair is also a member of the Integrated Pest Committee.

V. Publicity Committee
July-August:
Attend both Executive Meetings.
Put advertisement into the "Back to School" issue of the Falmouth Enterprise (Check with Registrar).
September:
Make new school pamphlets with Registrar's name an phone number. If programs are not full, distribute pamphlets to: Pediatrician's offices, Town Hall, Real Estate Offices, etc. Also, reissue ad in the Enterprise and put an ad on Channel 13 (Falmouth Public Television Station).
Work with Technology person to update web site when necessary.
January:
Put an ad in the newspaper and on Channel 13 for Alumni Registration in February, General Registration in March, and the Tuition Assistance Program.
February:
Alumni Registration - put ad in newspaper for March registration.
March:
General Registration - March 1st.
May:
Informally meet with Executive Committee to hand in folder.
Note:
Check with Fundraising Committee throughout the year to see if they need any help with advertising events.

VI. Refreshment Committee
August:
Attend Executive Committee Meeting.
September:
Provide refreshments for Parents' Meeting/Open House.
Set up coffee and muffins upstairs in the library for 2-day parents on first days of school.
October:
Halloween Party (contact parents for refreshments).November:
Thanksgiving Party (contact parents for refreshments).December:
Cookie Swap and Christmas Party (contact parents for refreshments for children and adults).January:
Provide refreshments for Parents' Meeting.
February:
Valentine's Day Party (contact parents for refreshments).March:
3-Day Challenge Puzzle Party (check with teachers for exact date).
April:
Spring Party (contact parents for refreshments).

Shape and Color Party for 2-day/ Animal and Insect Party for 3-day.
Help Enrichment Committee with picnic and getting donations for kids' candy, watermelon, ice cream, etc.

August/September

Check with the teachers to see what they need help with.

Attend Executive Committee meeting for approval of April evaluation.

Pass out Evaluations.
